Eye Drop Reminders
If you choose to use the optional eye-drop reminder feature, reminder times are scheduled directly through your device’s operating system using local notifications. No reminder data, medication information, or schedule is sent to any server, to us, or to any third party.
Video Content
The App displays educational videos hosted by a third-party video platform (Mux). When you play a video within the App, standard technical information (such as your device type and IP address) may be transmitted to that provider in order to deliver the video, consistent with normal web and app video playback. We do not receive or have access to this information ourselves. Please refer to Mux’s own privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.
Advertising
The App does not currently display third-party advertisements. If advertising is added in a future version, this policy will be updated in advance to describe what information, if any, an advertising provider may collect.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for general adult audiences seeking patient education about cataract surgery and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
